Uncle Grizzly
About This Sketch
This sketch is Scott’s tribute to a recently rediscovered childhood favourite tv show ‘Grizzly Tales for Gruesome Kids‘. This sketch is of the titular character ‘Uncle Grizzly’ and when Scott found this series again recently he felt inspired to sketch a version of Uncle Grizzly as watching the old episodes of this show gave Scott a lot of insight into the ways in which he could tell his own short stories. The claymation style of the original show is not a style of animation Scott enjoys as much, so he chose to create his sketch using Procreate Dreams, his favourite animating software.

The original sketch was created with the design software ‘Procreate Dreams’ a powerful animation software that Scott uses to animate his own short sequences and characters.
Key inspirations for Scott at the moment are from some of his favourite animated movies. From Dreamworks; the Shrek franchise, from Blue Sky Studios; the Ice Age franchise, and Disney in general, which recently celebrated its 100th anniversary as an animation studio.
