Egyptian Study
About This Painting
One of Scott’s earliest creative influences is the culture and mythology of Ancient Egypt. Scott’s primary interest in Egypt are the various ‘Gods’ of the mythology of Ancient Egyptian culture. This rare study of character is one of Scott’s earlier works depicting a human character. Scott’s use of colour here is very much in keeping with the inspiration used, but this is also one of the first paintings featuring a human character in Scott’s distinct artistic style.
This painting is made with acrylic paints on cartridge paper.
